O pensamento de Araripe Júnior sempre teve como objetivo a compreensão dos determinismos que teriam, segundo ele, estruturado a construção da nacionalismo. Compreendê-lo deve tomar como ponto de partida, portanto, a análise por ele efetuada sobre a ação de tais determinismos, bem como a originalidade de sua obra, bem como a originalidade a ela conferida pela criação de conceitos ligados a um profundo sentido de nacionalidade. The thought of Araripe Júnior has always sought to understand the determinisms that would have, according to his ideas, structuralized the construction of nationalism. To understand it, therefore, we must take as a starting point his analysis of these determinisms’ effects, as well as the originality of its workmanship, which is conferred to it by the creation of concepts deeply connected to the feeling of belonging to a nationality.
