Responsabilidades de um Repositório Arquivístico Digital Confiável na perspectiva do Open Archival Information System

The preservation of digital archival records requires human intervention, necessarily mediated by policies, strategies and implementation of computerized systems. Among the systems, it is observed that the implementation of a digital repository according to the Open Archival Information System (OAIS) model is the principle to ensure authenticity, preservation and long-term access. Thus, this study reflects on the mandatory responsibilities that a digital repository in accordance with OAIS should follow. It aims to provide a reflection on the implementation of a trustworthy digital repository for the preservation of digital archival records, and it is configured as an opinion article, characterized by the non-systematic review of previously published materials. The convergence between the mandatory responsibilities of the OAIS model and the archival science enables the implementation of a trustworthy digital archival repository, sufficient to preserve records, maintain authenticity and ensure long-term access.
