Serious creativity and its relationship to the ability to solve problems among distinguished students

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the level of serious creativity and the ability to solve problems, and the significance of the statistical differences in those levels among distinguished students according to the gender variable (males - females), the correlation between serious creativity and the ability to solve problems, and the extent to which serious creativity contributes to explaining the discrepancy. In their ability to solve problems, and to achieve the objectives of the research, a sample of (300) male and female students was selected in the distinguished schools in the cities of (Baghdad - Al-Karkh First and Al-Anbar). Distinguished students, and using the statistics portfolio (spss), the research reached the following results: 1. The level of serious creativity among the research sample is high, with statistical significance at the level (0.05) 2. There are no statistically significant differences in serious creativity according to the gender variable (males - furniture). 3. The level of problem-solving ability of the research sample is high, with statistical significance at the level (0.05). 4. There are statistically significant differences in the ability to solve problems according to the gender variable (male - female) 5. The relationship between serious creativity and the ability to solve problems is a positive and statistically significant relationship. 6. Serious creativity contributes to explaining part of the discrepancy in the ability to solve problems.
