Abstract

The contribution examines the forms of flexible work and the first company agreement signed between Just Eat Italia and the trade unions. The Agreement provides, in fact, that anyone who transports people or things discontinuously should be classified as an employee. The worker can be hired with an open-ended or temporary employment contract or even with an intermittent employment contract with an interminable or fixed term. The different possibilities of use of atypical forms of work and the consequences for riders are then examined, in a difficult balance between protection and flexibility.
