Abstract: The article analyzes the recent data concerning the new trends in the treatment of acne vulgaris of moderate severity using tetracyclines. Low-dose regimen of doxycycline is highly effective against inflammatory and noninflammatory lesions in patients with moderate acne on the face with a minority of side effects.
