Abstract

This article aims to analyze comparatively the process of political integration of traditional authorities within the state machinery in Angola and Mozambique. Analyzing the various attempts imposed by both States to abolish or manipulate traditional authorities, the question before us is: are the traditional authorities puppets or Trojan horses?
