Abstract
- The aim of the present study was to evaluate the productivity of five species of Brachiaria genus (B. brizantha, B. decumbens, B. humidicola, B. mutica and B. ruziziensis) under the 30-day interval mowing regime. After field experiment in four randomized complete block, the results revealed that the studied species differ significantly in the production of dry matter. They are ranked in ascending order as follow: B. mutica (372.9 Kg DM/ha)
