Abstract

Hyperbolic plasmonic surfaces supporting highly directional propagating plasmon-polaritons have been realized in artificial metamaterials. Here, the authors demonstrate experimentally a hyperbolic plasmonic surface naturally occurring in thin films of WTe2, a type-II Weyl semimetal with layered structure.
