Abstract

The general state of the energy supply of the EU member states, the reasons and objec- tives of the intensification of the EU’s efforts to develop alternative energy. A brief overview of the discussions about the possibilities of humanity to influence the physics of the atmosphere, the eco- system of the Earth and the climate of the planet. The importance of the problem of «ozone holes» in the approval of the anthropogenic concept of global climate change. The role of political technolo- gists in the emergence of the anthropogenic concept of climate change and the reasons for its adop- tion by the EU. Natural phenomena that affect the climate of the planet, in comparison with anthro- pogenic theory. The main stages of the international dissemination of the anthropogenic concept and a review of political, economic, financial, propaganda, scientific and technological measures aimed at displacing fossil energy sources and attracting commercial investors in the field of alternative energy. Coverage of the political technologies used to assert the dominant position of anthropogenic theory in the practical activities of States and many international intergovernmental and non-gover- nmental organizations. Estimates of the volume of investments in the creation of a carbon-free eco- nomy in 2050 and its profitability. Practical steps to form a new technological order in the Europe- an energy sector and their propaganda cover. The European «green deal» in modern EU politics.
