Abstract

Talha b. Ubeydullah is one of the first muslims and emigrants to Medina. He was also one of the members of Shura. He took part in every battles except Battle of Badr. He was not so active at the time of Caliph Abu Bakr and Umar. On the other hand, at the time of Caliph Uthman and Ali he was very active in politics. He was accused of being passive in the events leading the martyrdom of Caliph Uthman. He was the first one who pledged allegiance to Caliph Ali but he was among the opposition side at the Event of Jamal. And he was killed during this event.
