Abstract

Dengue infection is a mosquito borne arboviral disease of the tropics. It has a wide spectrum of presentation from flu-like illness to lethal hemorrhagic fever. Neurological manifestations are rare in dengue and can be due to neurotropic effect, immune mediated, or due to systemic complication. We hereby present a case report of a 21-year-old male presenting to us with acute pure motor quadriparesis due to hypokalemia caused by dengue fever.
