Abstract

This study aims to investigate and find out the influences of job dissatisfaction, organizational commitment and external job opportunities on Medical specialist’s voluntary turnover intention in a public sector. There are a total of 165 questionnaires collected using professional social networks. both descriptive and correlation matrix were applied to analyze the data obtained. Pearson Correlation Coefficient was used to measure the degree between independent variables with dependent variable in this research. The research findings showed a low level of dissatisfaction, a low degree of attachment to their public hospital environments and a strong conviction of the availability of external opportunities for alternative job. the results suggest that job dissatisfaction and organizational commitment and external job opportunity had a significant relationship with voluntary turnover intention.
