Abstract

The sociological studies allow in The Adventure of Miguel Littin Clandestine in Chile (1986) of Gabriel Garcia Marquez to reveal a dynamic existing between two elements: the first, the configuration of the literary work on the basis of historical references that build the collective memory and the imaginary of chilean society; the second, the questioning of the concept of democracy in the function of a necessary Chilean dictatorial period (1973 coup, exile and violation of human rights) for the transcendental development of a nation, supported by Dina, CNI, Armed Forces and other anticriminal bodies.
