Abstract

BACKGROUND: From among a cohort of 65,553 men aged 30-84 in Karunagappally Taluk, Kerala, India, 52 hypopharyngeal cancer cases and 85 laryngeal cancer cases were identified by the Karunagappally Cancer Registry during the period between 1990 and 2009. METHODS: We conduct Poisson regression analysis of grouped data, taking into account age and education.
