Abstract
- In the operation optimization of community integrated energy system (CIES), the implementation of integrated demand response (IDR) can guide users to adjust energy consumption behavior, optimize load curve and reduce system operation cost. However, due to different energy users have different preferences and behaviors resulting in uncertain load response. The probabilistic scenario method is used to deal with the uncertainty of load response. The operator of CIES faces the risk of operation cost fluctuation associated with the uncertainty of load response. Then, conditional value at risk (CVaR) is adopted to measure the risk of operation cost fluctuation and control the risk level to minimize the operation cost. A CVaR-based operation optimization method for CIES is proposed to determine the operation strategies under different risk preferences. The case study verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method. The relationship between the economy and risk level of the system under different risk preferences is discussed.
