Abstract

The approximately 40 trillion bacteria that are part of our body, constituting the microbiome, have long gone unnoticed, but they are currently sparking a revolution in explaining diseases such as asthma, autism, cancer, diabetes, obesity, syndromes. metabolic, chronic fatigue syndrome and others. The nascent antibiotic phobia is orchestrated by health professionals, and rightly so, because when a child or adolescent is treated with antibiotics, often wrongly, because these are viral infections, what we are doing is modifications in the microbiome, which can then lead to the appearance of true diseases! The intense medicalization of daily life that turns healthy people into chronically ill people, Barski, in 1988, called it the “health paradox” that fuels billions of dollars worth of markets like ritalin and oxycodone! Quaternary prevention has in recent years given hope to all those who wish to take another look at the health / disease issue currently framed in current developments on microbiome.
