The study involved 118 cadets of The Vladimir Kikot Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at all stages of training (aged from 17 to 22 years). Zverkov, E.V. Eidman). The results of the study showed statistically significant differences in the intensity of educational and professional motivation and self-control at different stages of training. The results obtained can be used to optimize the process and quality of training of future law enforcement officers.
