Abstract
- The emergence of superconductivity from the normal state in the cuprates above the transition temperature (T c) has been controversial. Here, Pelc et al. report nonlinear conductivity, resulting from superconducting precursors only, vanishing exponentially above T c both with temperature and with magnetic field.
