Tradition Chinese Medicine nursing of a patient with insomnia treated by auricular acupoint sticking and pressing therapy (耳穴贴压治疗1例失眠患者的中医护理体会)

Insomnia is the most common sleep disorder affecting millions of people worldwide. This paper summarized the Tradition Chinese Medicine nursing management of a patient with insomnia treated by auricular acupoint sticking-pressing therapy. Based on the nursing assessment and syndrome differentiation, Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing techniques such as auricular acupoint sticking-pressing therapy, head massage, acupuncture and emotional nursing were carried out to regulate patient's physiological functions and improve the sleep quality.
