Comment to the paper J. Yan et al. Experimental confirmation of driving pressure boosting and smoothing for hybrid-drive inertial fusion at the 100-kJ laser facility [Nature Communications (2023) 14:5782]

The lack of experimental data on the direct-drive pressure leads us to the conclusion that, the published experimental confirmation of driving pressure boosting and smoothing for hybrid-drive inertial fusion is not credible.
