Abstract
- In this paper, we propose a hybrid nano communication (HNC) system that integrates three possible modes of nano communications: terahertz communication (TC), molecular communication (MC), and neural communication (NC). The paper provides some insights into how the required four key building blocks, namely, terahertz to molecular (T2M) relay interface, molecular to terahertz (M2T) interface, molecular to neural (M2N) relay, and neural to molecular (N2M) interface can be designed to implement the HNC system. In addition, the capacity analysis for the hybrid channel is provided. Sub-channels' capacities are also calculated. Finally, numerical results are presented to comprehend the data transmission capacity of the proposed HNC system.<br />Comment: 5 pages, 10 figures, ICTC-2019
