Variational autoencoders for tissue heterogeneity exploration from (almost) no preprocessed mass spectrometry imaging data

The paper presents the application of Variational Autoencoders (VAE) for data dimensionality reduction and explorative analysis of mass spectrometry imaging data (MSI).
