Non-Hermitian Quantum Annealing and Superradiance

Abstract: We consider the non-Hermitian quantum annealing for the one-dimentional Ising spin chain, and for a large number of qubits. We show that the annealing time is significanly reduced for the non-Hermitian algorithm in comparison with the Hermitian one. We also demonstrtate the relation of the non-Hermitian quantum annealing with the superadiance transition in this system.<br />Comment: 15 pages, 8 figures. arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:1211.3178
