Abstract

Introduction: Both adults and children with OCD, vary in terms ofinsight related to the accuracy of their dysfunctional beliefs, ranging fromacknowledging the fact that the beliefs are irrational to being completelyconvinced the beliefs are true.Materialand Method: Participants consisted of 264 adolescents, aged from 12 to 16 years. Mean age of thesample was 13.56 (SD±1.11) years. The Obsessive Compulsive Inventory-Revised(OCI-R), State Trait Anxiety Inventoryfor Children (STAI-C), Obsessive Beliefs Questionnaire-Child Version (OBQ-CV),and Meta-Cognitions Questionnaire for Children (MCQ-C) were applied.
