[Prognostic importance of kidney function studies in the surgical treatment of vasorenal hypertension]

A separate assessment of renal function by Howard and Rapoport tests was carried out upon 23 cases of unilateral and 5 cases of bilateral renal arterial stenosis diagnosed through angiography. Functionally significant stenosis was found in 18 unilateral cases (78.3%), 12 of them were operated upon. The results of investigations are presented.
