Abstract: Toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) is a rare but very serious dermatologic disorder and is seen more commonly in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infected patients. We present a case of TEN in HIV infected person secondary to carbamazepine who responded favourably to corticosteroids.
