[Germany and Bavaria as a destination for international migration since 1960 and scenarios for future immigration beyond the year 2000]

Trends in international migration to West Germany and Bavaria during 1960-1990 are examined. Four different scenarios of future immigration to Germany and Bavaria are then presented for the period 1991-2010. Migration of Germans and foreigners is analyzed separately, and the impact on population growth is considered.
