[Studies on the chemical constituents from the roots of Lamiophlomis rotata (Benth.) Kudo, a medical plant in Xi-Zang (Tibet)]

Two new highly oxygenated iridoids, named lamiophlomiol A and B, were isolated from an alcohol extract of the roots of Lamiophlomis rotata (Labiatea) by silica gel G column chromatography. Lamiophlomiol A and B are two epimers. Their structures were elucidated to be Ia and Ib with spectroscopic and chemical analysis.
