Abstract
- A method is described to determine amino acids by extraction from pieces of bloodstained and dried filter papers and following dansylation and separation by High-Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC). Quantitative determination is possible by means of a TLC-Scanner measuring the fluorescent light of the dansylated amino acids. The possible use of this procedure as screening test is discussed.
