Certitudes et incertitudes autour de la structure des statuts municipaux en pays bas-rhodaniens (xiie-xiiie siècles)

Cette étude vise à déterminer si des rapprochements peuvent être faits au niveau de la structuration interne des corps normatifs municipaux médiévaux, à travers l’exemple du Languedoc et de la Provence rhodaniens aux xiie et xiiie siècles. Elle fait apparaître l’absence d’un modèle de structuration thématique, le fait que les liens existent plutôt entre statuts d’une même ville qu’entre corpus de villes voisines et, au-delà, le caractère très relatif des organisations internes des corps normatifs municipaux médiévaux. The aim of this study is to determine whether there are any similarities in the internal structuring of the medieval municipal laws, through the example of Languedoc and Provence in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. It reveals the absence of a thematic structuring model, the fact that the links exist between the statutes of the same city and between the corpus of neighboring cities and, beyond that, the very relative character of the internal organizations of the medieval municipal laws.
