Kilis ve Şanlıurfa illerinden toplanan peletlerle peçeli baykuş, Tyto alba (Scopoli, 1769) ve kukumav, Athene noctua (Scopoli, 1769) besin analizi

Kilis ve Sanlıurfa'nın farklı yerlerinden 2004-2007 yıllarında toplanan Peçeli Baykus,Tyto alba (Scopoli, 1769) ve Kukumav, Athene noctua (Scopoli, 1769)'a ait 309 pelet analizedildi. Çalısmalar sonucunda Reptilia sınıfına ait bir tür (Asaccus elisae), Aves sınıfınaait dokuz (Passer domesticus ve Streptopelia decaocta) ve Mammalia sınıfındanInsectivora takımına ait 32 (28 Crocidura suaveolens ve 4 Suncus etruscus), Rodentia takımınaait 348 (Cricetulus migratorius, Mesocricetus auratus, Gerbillus dasyurus,Meriones tristrami, Microtus cf. irani, Microtus socialis, Microtus guentheri, Musmacedonicus, Apodemus sp., Nannospalax ehrenbergi ve Dryomys nitedula) olmak üzeretoplam 390 birey tespit edilmistir. Suncus etruscus, Kilis ve Sanlıurfa illerinden veDryomys nitedula, Kilis ili'nden ilk defa kaydedilmistir.Anahtar sözcükler: Besin analizi, Pelet, Peçeli Baykus, Tyto alba, Kukumav, Athenenoctua, Rodentia, Insectivora. A total of 309 pellets of Barn owl, Tyto alba (Scopoli, 1769), and Little owl, Athenenoctua (Scopoli, 1769) collected from different localities of Kilis and Sanlıurfa provincesbetween 2004 to 2007 were analysed. As a result of the study, one specimen belongs tothe class Reptilia (Asaccus elisae), nine specimens belong to the class Aves (Passerdomesticus and Streptopelia decaocta) and 32 specimens belong to the order Insectivora(28 Crocidura suaveolens and 4 Suncus etruscus). 348 specimens belong to Rodentia(Cricetulus migratorius, Mesocricetus auratus, Gerbillus dasyurus, Meriones tristrami,Meriones sp., Microtus cf. irani, Microtus socialis, Microtus guentheri, Microtus sp., Musmacedonicus, Apodemus sp., Nannospalax ehrenbergi, and Dryomys nitedula) of the classMammalia.
