Abstract

Cilj završnog rada je istaknuti značaj upravljanja ljudskim potencijalima kako u teorijskom smislu, tako i na praktičnom primjeru u hotelu Park u Splitu. Hotel, kao primarni nositelj turističke ponude treba imati stručno i zadovoljno osoblje jer je hotelijerstvo specifična djelatnost koja kvalitetu usluge gradi na kvaliteti svojih zaposlenika. Smisao hotela je osigurati svojim gostima korisne i efikasne usluge te ugodan boravak. Gosti hotela očekuju ljubaznost, stručnost radnika te nezaboravan boravak. Nedovoljno stručno osoblje može negativno utjecati na zadovoljstvo gostiju a time i na uspjeh hotelskog poduzeća. Samo poduzeća koja su usmjerena na kvalitetu i zadovoljstvo gostiju mogu konkurirati na tržištu. Zadatak je upravljanja ljudskim potencijalima na učinkovit način voditi tim zaposlenika, posvećujući jednaku pozornost i pribavljanju i selekciji kadrova, kao i obrazovanju i obuci kadrova, te mjerenju radne uspješnosti i motivaciji. Jedino na taj način može se osigurati kvalitetan razvoj ljudskih potencijala u hotelskom poduzeću koji može odgovoriti svim izazovima njihovog poslovanja.<br />The aim of the final essay is to point out the importance of the management of human resources not only theoretical but also practical with the example of Hotel Park in Split. A hotel, as a foundation of a tourist offerring shoud have skilled and satisfied staff because hospitality is a specific activity that builds the quality of its service on the quality of its employees. Th e objective of the hotel is to ensure useful and effective services and a pleasant stay for the guests. Hotel guests expect hospitality, skilled workers, and an unforgetable stay. Staff that are not skilled enough can have a negative effect on the satisfaction of guests and therefore the succes of the hotel. Only hotels that are dedicated to quality and the satisfaction of their guests can compete on the market. The goal of the management of human recources is to run a team of employees efficiently, dedicating equal attention to employing and staff selection, their education and training and keeping track of work success and motivation. In that way only can a hotel insure the quality development of human recources that can confront every challenge of their business.
