Abstract
- Ovaj rad istražuje odnos samopoštovanja i učestalosti korištenja društvene mreže Instagram kod studenata. Pojašnjena je kompleksnost samopoštovanja kao i definiranje pojma iz nekoliko različitih kutova. Raspravljeno je značenje novih medija i utjecaj digitalizacije te Web 2.0 na komunikaciju i dijalog. U radu se pisalo i o tome kako se komunikacija mijenjala tijekom godina, desetljeća i stoljeća i što je Web 2.0 popravio ili pokvario donošenjem mogućnosti za bržim širenjem informacija. Središnji dio ovog završnog rada jest istraživanje samopoštovanja među ispitanim studentima i koliko korištenje Instagrama gradi ili uništava samopoštovanje te postoji li razlika kada su u pitanju studenti i studentice. This final paper is based on research of the relationship of self-esteem and the frequency of using the social media app Instagram, where the users are college students. The complexity of the self-esteem is explained, and a few of the self-esteem definitions were offered. The meaning of new media and the influence of digitalisation, and Web 2.0 on communication and dialogue. In this paper it was written that the communication has changed throughout the years, decades and centuries, and it is discussed what the Web 2.0 fixed or broke while bringing the possibility of faster information sharing. The middle part of this final paper is the research of self-esteem among students, and how much did Instagram using build or destroy their self-esteem, and if there is a difference when either female or male students were in question.
