Caracterización de los perfiles de los ceo que lideran empresas de base tecnológica de crecimiento extraordinario en el sector de servicios financieros

En los últimos años se ha puesto de manifiesto que una gestión hábil, sobre todo de los líderes dentro de las organizaciones, es un factor determinante para alcanzar el éxito empresarial. Sin embargo, a pesar de que la literatura destaca la importancia del CEO dentro de la organización, no se mencionan las características específicas del director ejecutivo que le permiten llevar una empresa a lograr un crecimiento extraordinario. En este sentido, el objetivo de esta investigación es caracterizar los perfiles de los CEO que lideran empresas de base tecnológica con un crecimiento extraordinario en el sector de los servicios financieros. Para ello, se realiza un análisis exhaustivo de la literatura para determinar aquellas características que los CEO tienen en común, y cómo impactan en la creación de valor, la obtención de retornos positivos en las empresas que tienen a su cargo, y el crecimiento extraordinario de las mismas. Así pues, a partir de la recopilación de información que tiene en cuenta los CEO de empresas de base tecnológica con crecimiento extraordinario, se obtiene como resultado que tanto la capacidad de razonamiento, la orientación al logro y la habilidad para recolectar información son características comunes. Asimismo, la habilidad de toma de decisiones y tener liderazgo son también esenciales y la mayoría de los CEO las cumplen. Por su parte, se observa que, en menor medida, pero no menos importante, se encuentran las habilidades de innovación, trabajo en equipo, estrategia, aprender a aprender, la resolución de problemas y conocimientos informáticos. De esta forma, se llega a la conclusión que son estas características las que permiten que una empresa del sector financiero por medio de la gestión del director ejecutivo alcance crecimiento extraordinario.
In recent years it has become clear that skillful management, especially of leaders within organizations, is a determining factor in achieving business success. However, although the literature highlights the importance of the CEO within the organization, there is no mention of the specific characteristics of the CEO that allow him/her to lead a company to achieve extraordinary growth. In this sense, the objective of this research is to characterize the profiles of CEOs leading technology-based companies with extraordinary growth in the financial services sector. To this end, an exhaustive analysis of the literature is carried out to determine those characteristics that CEOs have in common, and how they impact the creation of value, the achievement of positive returns in the companies they are in charge of, and the extraordinary growth of these companies. Thus, from the collection of information that takes into account the CEOs of technology-based companies with extraordinary growth, it is obtained as a result that both reasoning ability, achievement orientation and the ability to collect information are common characteristics. Likewise, decision-making skills and leadership are also essential and most of the CEOs fulfill them. To a lesser extent, but no less important, are the skills of innovation, teamwork, strategy, learning to learn, problem solving and computer literacy. Thus, it is concluded that it is these characteristics that allow a company in the financial sector to achieve extraordinary growth through the management of the CEO.
