Abstract

Objective: Sella turcica is an important anatomical structure including glandula pituitaria. The development of Sella turcica in the prenatal and postnatal period is of great importance in the normal development or pathology of the organs associated with this structure in the critical region. In this study, we aimed to perform morphometric analysis of sella turcica in patients aged between 1 and 11. Methods: Total of 72 patients aged between 1–11 years who were admitted to hospital for various reasons and who had lateral head radiography were analyzed. The measurements were classified according to gender and disease types using the Chi Square Test.
