Spacial, social, and governing tranformations of Croatian rural extended families (zadrugas) throughout the 20th century. The case study of Živić-Krlavini extended family (zadruga)

Ovaj rad pruža uvid u život seljačke obiteljske zadruge Živić–Krlavini. Opisuje i analizira prostorne, društvene i upravljačke transformacije koje su pratile ovu zadrugu tijekom 20. stoljeća, odnosno, od zadružnog osnutka do posljednje diobe. U radu je razrađena teorijska koncepcija na temelju koje je napravljena analiza intervjua provedenih s kazivačima koji su živjeli u zadruzi od druge polovice 20. stoljeća do 1996. godine. Analiza je također provedena i kroz tri vremenska razdoblja; do Drugog svjetskog rata, od Drugog svjetskog rata do Domovinskog rata te nakon Domovinskog rata do raspada zadruge 1996. godine. This paper provides insight into the life of the rural extended family (zadruga) Živić-Krlavini. It describes and analyzes the spatial, social and management transformations that followed the zadruga during the 20th century i.e. from the moment it was founded to its last division. The paper elaborates on a theoretical conception on the basis of which an analysis of the interviews conducted with the tellers who lived in the zadruga from the second half of the 20th century until 1996 is made. The analysis is also conducted over three times periods; until the Second World War, from the Second World War until the Croatian War of Independence and after the Croatian War of Independence until the collapse of the zadruga in 1996.
