http://sutod.selcuk.edu.tr/sutod/article/view/225<br />Bu çalışmada; Alkil Keten Dimer (AKD) kimyasalının kullanılması ile üretilen yongalevhalarda boyutsal stabilte özellikleri incelenmiştir. Hidrofobik madde olarak parafin ve AKD’ nin sırasıyla % 0,3- 0,5- 0,8 oranlarda kullanıldığı yongalevhalarda bazı teknolojik özellikleri araştırılarak, levhalarda su alma miktarı, kalınlık artışı, çekme direnci ve formaldehit emisyon özellikleri incelenmiştir. Elde edilen testler sonucunda; AKD kimyasalı kullanılarak üretilen levhaların boyutsal stabilitesi iyileşmiştir.<br />In this study, particleboards were manufactured by using Alkyl Ketene Dimer AKD chemical instead of paraffin. These particle boards were subjected to physical and mechanic tests. As a result of the tests, dimensional stability values of the boards manufactured by using AKD chemical were higher than the other boards. Some physical and formaldehyde emission properties were investigated in boards that Paraffin and AKD was used by 0,3 %-0,5-0,8 respectively as hydrophobic material. Consequently, dimensional stability is significantly provided and physical properties have improved in boards which AKD was used.
