Abstract

Background: The incidence of atrial fibrillation in acute coronary syndromes (ACS) ranges from 3% to 25%. The purpose of the current study was to investigate the demographic and baseline clinical characteristics, cardiovascular risk factors and comorbid conditions between patients (pts) with concomitant atrial fibrillation (AF) to those without AF in patients suffering from ACS without previous coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) and/or percutaneous coronary intervention.
