Abstract

U ovom radu analizira se pravni aspekt poslova traganja i spašavanja na moru. Potonuće putničkog broda Titanic 1912. godine utjecalo je na unaprjeĎenje sigurnosti ljudskih ţivota na moru. Na meĎunarodnom planu usvojena je Međunarodna konvencija o zaštiti ljudskog života na moru (SOLAS konvencija), a kasnije i Međunarodna konvencija o traganju i spašavanju na moru (SAR konvencija). Republika Hrvatska je sukladno SAR konvenciji usvojila Nacionalni plan traganja i spašavanja na moru. Cilj ovog rada je analizirani i objasniti kako su poslovi traganja i spašavanja na moru od iznimne vaţnosti za svaku drţavu te kako je dobra pravna regulativa temelj uspješne zaštite ljudskog ţivota na moru. This paper reviews a legal aspect of search and rescue operation at sea. The sinking of the Titanic in 1912. has influenced the advancement of the safety of human lives at sea. International wise, the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) has been adopted, and later the International Convention on Maritime Search and Rescue (SAR convencion) as well. According to the SAR convention, Croatia has adopted the Nacional Plan of Search and Rescue at Sea. The goal of this work is to analyze and explain how the practices of search and rescue at sea are of extreme importance for every country and how a good legal regulative is the foundation of successful protection of human life at sea.
