Abstract
- Sedentarni način života je vrsta života koja uključuje malu ili nikakvu tjelesnu aktivnost. Dok se sjedilačko ponašanje odnosi na aktivnosti koje ne povećavaju potrošnju energije znatno iznad razine odmora i uključuje aktivnosti poput spavanja, sjedenja, ležanja i gledanja televizije (Pate i sur., 2008). Prema Svjetskoj zdravstvenoj organizaciji (WHO), od 60 do 85% populacije razvijenih i država u razvoju živi sjedilačkim načinom života, dok skoro dva miliona ljudi godišnje umire od fizičke neaktivnosti. Iz tog razloga sedentarni život može biti unutar deset glavnih uzroka smrti u svijetu (World Health Organization, 2002). Uz moderne izume kao što su: računalo, televizija i razne igrače konzole, ljudi se sve manje kreću, a sve više sjede doma. Ovakav stil života smatra se neovisnim čimbenikom rizika za nastanak raznih kroničnih bolesti kao što su: hipertenzija, šećerna bolest, pretilost, razne kardiovaskularne bolesti. Izradom kvalitetnog plana i programa sportsko rekreacijskog vježbanja, možemo na siguran i efikasan način utjecati na poboljšanje kvalitete života osoba koje žive sedentarnim načinom. Da bi plan i program bio kvalitetno napisan i prikladno proveden, treba biti osmišljen i realiziran od strane kineziologa ili druge stručne osobe. Cilj ovog rada je osvijestiti ljude o važnostima rekreacijskog vježbanja, kao i provođenju vremena u prirodi. Te približiti im osnovne smjernice o treniranju i prehrambenim navikama. A sedentary lifestyle is a type of life that involves little or no physical activity. While sedentary behavior refers to activities that do not increase energy expenditure significantly above rest levels and includes activities such as sleeping, sitting, lying down, and watching television (Pate and others, 2008). According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 60 to 85% of the population of developed and developing countries live a sedentary lifestyle, while nearly two million people die each year from physical inactivity. For this reason, sedentary life can be within the top ten causes of death in the world (World Health Organization, 2002). With modern inventions such as: the computer, television and various console games, people are moving less and less and sitting at home more and more. This lifestyle is considered an independent risk factor for the development of various chronic diseases such as: hypertension, diabetes, obesity, various cardiovascular diseases. By creating a quality plan and program of sports and rec-reational exercise, we can safely and effectively influence the improvement of the quality of life of people who live a sedentary lifestyle. In order for the plan and program to be well written and properly implemented, it should be designed and implemented by a kinesiologist or other professional. The aim of this paper is to make people aware of the importance of recreational exercise, as well as spending time in nature. Also to bring them basic guidelines on training and eating habits.
