Abstract

Basic information about learning disorders, as well as a thorough description of the five most frequent ones, are shown in the theoretical part of this thesis. Common problems and the mechanisms for their easing are listed for each disorder, while the emphasis is placed on digital tools. Popular mobile applications built for the aforementioned disorders, available on Google Play Store or Apple Store, are presented. The Android application named Dys Assist is created in the practical part of the thesis. In the application design, the existing mechanisms that assist the learning process in cases of learning disorders are applied. The predicted way of using the implemented activities is thoroughly described alongside the respective screens and the mechanisms they apply. The user's navigation path through the application is illustrated by a diagram, and the use cases are defined. Research conducted with a sample of ten users confirms their contentment with the application design and the quality of the offered activities.
