Synthesis and characterization of nickel(II) compounds with substituted pyrazines

Abstract

Istražene su reakcije te su ispitani uvjeti priprave novih kompleksnih spojeva niklova(II) klorida, niklova(II) bromida i niklova(II) jodida s aminopirazinom (NH2-pyz) i klorpirazinom (Cl-pyz). Pripravljeni su sljedeći spojevi [NiCl2(NH2-pyz)4] (1), [NiCl2(NH2-pyz)2]n (2), [NiBr2(NH2-pyz)4] (3),[NiBr2(NH2-pyz)2]n (4), [NiI2(NH2-pyz)2]n (5), [NiCl2(Cl-pyz)2]n (6) i [NiBr2(Cl-pyz)2]n (7). Spojevi su okarakterizirani kemijskom analizom, infracrvenom spektroskopijom, termogravimetrijskom analizom i difrakcijom rentgenskog zračenja na praškastom uzorku. Spoju 1 je rentgenskom strukturnom analizom određena kristalna i molekulska struktura. Vodikove veze diktiraju način slaganja molekula u supramolekulskim strukturama spojeva s aminopirazinom, dok do udruživanja spojeva s klorpirazinom dolazi preko halogenskih veza. The reaction conditions of nickel(II) chloride, nickel(II) bromide and nickel(II) iodide with aminopyrazine and chloropyrazine were investigated. The following complexes were prepared: [NiCl2(NH2-pyz)4] (1), [NiCl2(NH2-pyz)2]n (2), [NiBr2(NH2-pyz)4] (3),[NiBr2(NH2-pyz)2]n (4), [NiI2(NH2-pyz)2]n (5), [NiCl2(Cl-pyz)2]n (6) i [NiBr2(Cl-pyz)2]n (7). Compounds were characterized by chemical analysis, infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and X-ray powder diffraction. Compound 1 was structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction method. Supramolecular structure of aminopyrazine based complexes rely on hydrogen bonds, while halogen bond acts as main driving force in assembling of chloropyrazine based complexes.
