Abstract

A systematic study of plant growth modeling is an attractive and challenging problem for scientists and mathematician researchers. In the recent year, the logistic growth model has been used to simulate plant growth by ignoring growth factors. Plant growth process depends on many factors such as water, light and temperature. In this study, the effect of water stress on the growth rate is considered. Generally, there are three stages of plant growth, namely emergence stage, vegetative stage and reproduction stage. We defined these three stages in terms of a multi-logistic model. A new multi-logistic plant growth model which depends on water stress effect is introduced. The study focuses on soybean. The comparison of virtual image of growth at difference time steps are presented.
