Investigation of the structure and phase composition of intermetallides of the Ti-Al system obtained by EBM

Abstract: In this paper the structure of samples obtained by the EBM method when aluminum wire was built up on a titanium substrate in order to obtain an intermetallic compound is studied.It is shown that TiAl and Al3Ti intermetallides with high nanohardness values were formed in the samples.
