Abstract
- Conducting polymers represent an emerging class of conductors combining notable optoelectronic and thermoelectric properties; however, the electrical performance remains a limiting factor. This review provides an overview of the relevant parameters driving the rarely observed metal-insulator transition. Recent magnetotransport measurements provide clearer insight to study the proximity to the metallic state, i.e. the exact quantification of scattering and mobility. From that, one conclusion is the desired isotropic metallic phases depend on coherence and intermolecular radii. Version of record
