Gender Aspect of Euphemization of Discourse of Politicians: V. V. Putin vs A. Merkel

The article focuses on gender specificity of professional discourse of politicians from the point of view of linguopersonology. The question of interrelation between gender and specificity of euphemization of professional discourse of political leaders is considered on the material of public speeches of V. V. Putin and A. Merkel. It has been found that in their speeches addressed to mass audience V. V. Putin and A. Merkel demonstrate a differentiated usage of euphemisms to complete professional communicative tasks.
