Essa autora, neta de imigrantes italianos que se estabeleceram em São Paulo, escreveu muitos livros de autobiografia e memórias, narrando a história de sua vida e de toda família. Entre as obras escritas, podemos destacar: Anarquistas, graças a Deus (1979) e Città di Roma (2000). Ambas apresentam muitas similaridades entre si e tais semelhanças serão analisadas no decorrer dessa pesquisa. Zélia Gattai, por meio da escrita memorialista, faz uso de uma linguagem simples e de estruturas muito semelhantes nas duas obras, aborda episódios da infância mostrando a relação entre a família, amigos, além de desenhar um painel geral sobre o contexto histórico e social no qual viveu. Diante disso, é interessante fazermos uma análise das duas obras evidenciando as semelhanças em relação à maneira da composição de suas escritas de si. Regarding self-writing, in particular to the modalities of autobiography and memoirs, Zélia Gattai stands out in the literary scenery. This author, granddaughter of Italian immigrants who settled in São Paulo, wrote many autobiographies and memoirs, telling the story of her life and all her family. Among her written works, we can highlight Anarquistas, graças a Deus (1979) e Città di Roma (2000). Both have many similarities to each other that will be analyzed throughout this research. Zélia Gattai's memorialist writing makes use of simple language and very similar structures in these two works. She addresses childhood episodes, showing the relationship between family and friends, in addition to drawing a general overview regarding the sociohistorical context in which she lived. In light of this, it is interesting to analyze the two works showing the similarities concerning how her writings were composed.
