Historia y fundamentos epistemológicos de la línea de pedagogía, Maestría en Educación, Universidad Santo Tomás

El presente artículo de investigación es un producto de refl exión resultado del trabajo colectivo de los miembros de la Línea de Pedagogía de la Maestría en Educación de la Universidad Santo Tomás. Se genera un proceso que intente recoger la historia de la Línea de Pedagogía, junto con el fundamento epistemológico de los ejes de investigación que permean la línea, como lo son, la filosofía tomista, la didáctica, el currículo y la evaluación. El objetivo de este trabajo es resaltar la intención fundante de la Maestría en Educación, basada en la formación de magister investigadores con competencias integradoras que reflexionen y orienten la producción del conocimiento científi co en el campo pedagógico-educativo. Asimismo, la Línea de Pedagogía, está orientada a refl exionar, discutir y profundizar, sobre el pensamiento pedagógico dominicano-tomista, pedagogías contemporáneas y emergentes, pensamiento pedagógico latinoamericano, investigación curricular, prácticas pedagógicas, evaluación y didáctica. This research paper is a product of refl ection result of the collective work of the members of the Line of Education, Master of Education from the Santo Tomás University. A product that attempts to pick up the story line of Pedagogy, continuing the epistemological basis of research areas that permeate the line, such as the Thomist philosophy, teaching, curriculum and assessment is done. The aim of this paper is to highlight the founding intent of the Master of Education, based on the training of researchers magister with integrative skills to refl ect and guide the production of scientifi c knowledge in the pedagogical-educational fi eld. In addition, the line of Education, is aimed to refl ect, discuss and deepen, on the DominicanThomist pedagogical thinking, teaching contemporary and emerging pedagogies, Latin American educational thinking, curriculum research, teaching practices and assessment.
