¿DE QUÉ SE HABLA EN LA ACADEMIA CUANDO SE DICE 'NEOLIBERALISMO'? REFLEXIONES SOBRE UN CONCEPTO

In this article, I reconstruct and analyze the epistemic changes produced by liberalismand the development of capitalism in Modernity, which significantly altered the identitiesof men and women, the social imaginary about social and kinship relations, aswell as the horizon of possibilities. In addition, I critically review the genealogy of theconcept of “neoliberalism” in order to problematize its use by Academia and recover theusefulness of liberal ideas and values for feminism and for the women organizations,which, in the 21st. Century, they continue to struggle in order to obtain basic rights, suchas the right to work under equal conditions. En este artículo reconstruyo y analizo los cambios epistémicos que produjeron el liberalismoy el desarrollo del capitalismo en la modernidad, los cuales trastornaron de unmodo significativo las identidades de hombres y de mujeres, el imaginario sobre loslazos sociales y las relaciones de parentesco, así como el horizonte de posibilidades.Además, repaso críticamente la genealogía del concepto de “neoliberalismo” con el finde problematizar su uso por la academia y recuperar la utilidad de las ideas y de losvalores liberales para el feminismo y para los movimientos de mujeres, los cuales, en elsiglo xxi, continúan bregando por obtener derechos elementales, como por ejemplo, elderecho al trabajo en igualdad de condiciones.
