Se trata de un estudio acerca de las teorías implícitas de docentes del área de Lengua Castellana de una institución educativa de Educación Superior desde una posición desarrollista o innatista. Es de tipo mixto de triangulación concurrente con un nivel exploratorio. Se concluye con la tendencia de siete participantes a considerar el talento desde el modelo propuesto por Renzulli y a considerar una posición general del talento desarrollista y en particular para el área de Lengua Castellana innatista.
